The subject of children lies extremely close to the core of people. I know it is a subject that can bring a lot of feelings – good and bad. Everyone is doing the best they can, no one gave us a degree or a class on how to raise little humans, we’re all learning by doing and hopefully adjusting to better strategies when the ones we’re scripted for is not working so well. I am not here to preach or to point the finger and judge behavior as right or wrong. Well, don’t get me wrong, there are some things that I cannot ever tolerate, any kind of abuse or a complete unwillingness to take responsibility for your actions and results will disqualify you from being part of my world.

I become better and better at living my life according to my core beliefs and values. Some of them are more important in this context and I’ve listed them here so that you can decide if they ring true to you as well. I strongly believe that everyone has a right to their opinion and in the freedom of speech. I realize and acknowledge that every family is unique and that the only one who knows what Your family really need is You. You are the one who knows your history, the values and strategies you were taught growing up, what your child has been through and what circumstances you are living in. I will not tell you what you should or shouldn’t do. I will not judge you for not doing what I am doing nor will I pretend to have answers that fit everyone in every situation.
Please to don’t be offended by my writing, do not feel criticized by me when I express my feelings and beliefs just because you don’t share them and please don’t ever beat yourself up about your actions in the past because of a new piece of knowledge or idea has come into your life. Celebrate finding new and possibly more effective ways and stay open to try them out and to be changed.
